Your journey

The whole way, on one line.

From the first check-up to the baby’s first months: appointments, things to arrange, the due date and who’s home when, together on one timeline. Today is always marked, so you can see what’s behind you and what’s next.

The journey for Sam and Robin: the trimesters and the first months, with booking kraamzorg, a midwife check-up today in week 20, Sam’s leave, the due date in March and who’s home when

How it works

Everything you’re juggling, in one plan you share.

01

See what’s next, together.

How far along you are, what’s coming up this week and who’s doing what. Invite your partner and you’re both looking at the same plan, on your own phones.

  • A week-by-week countdown to your due date
  • To-dos and appointments with both your names on them
  • Questions for the midwife, ready at the check-up
The calendar: the midwife check-up in three days, then the 20-week scan

02

Buy what you need, at a better price.

Start from a ready-made baby list, adjust it to you, and compare options from different shops. Price watch keeps track of the prices you’ve saved and shows you when one drops.

  • A babyuitzet list to start from, not a blank page
  • Top picks from independent tests, like the ANWB car seat test
  • Price drops and target prices at a glance
Price watch: the compact city stroller is €589 at one shop and €619 at another, €60 below what it was

03

Leave, planned with the Dutch rules.

Pregnancy and maternity leave, birth leave, extra birth leave and parental leave for both of you, on one timeline. Wiegklaar shows which days nobody is home yet, until every workday is covered.

  • Both employers, both work weeks
  • Leave balances that add up
  • Try another plan without losing this one

04

Know what daycare will really cost.

Compare daycares side by side, per month and for the first year, with this year’s childcare benefit tables. Your income stays on your own device: it’s never saved or sent.

  • Hourly rates, billed hours and contract weeks
  • Your share after the childcare benefit
  • Notes from every visit in one place

On your phone too

Plan at your desk, check on the way.

Make the big decisions on a computer, then tick off a to-do in the shop or check the next appointment in the waiting room. It’s the same plan everywhere, always in sync, with nothing to install.

Why we made it

We’re parents-to-be ourselves. Planning it all together got busy fast, so we built the plan we wanted.

Questions

Good to know.

When can we start?

We’re letting families in a few at a time while we’re in beta. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when it’s your turn.

Do we need to install an app?

No. Wiegklaar works in your browser, on your computer and on your phone, always in sync. You can add it to your phone’s home screen too.

Is it in Dutch?

Not yet: Wiegklaar is in English for now, and the Dutch version is on its way. Dutch terms like kraamzorg stay as they are, with a short explanation.

Who can see our plan?

Only the people in your household. The person who runs Wiegklaar can see your shopping list and prices, to run the price checks, but never your notes, appointments, baby book or due date.

Does it give medical advice?

No. Wiegklaar helps you plan. For anything about your health or your baby’s, talk to your verloskundige or GP.
